Identity

Qimah-academy Academy is the training division of qimah-academy Financial Consultancy

One company, one address, and the legal entity you contract with is qimah-academy Financial Consultancy. qimah-academy Academy is the name the company publishes its training under, not a separate entity. This site offers the training and nothing else: the firm's advisory services are not sold from here and are not put to you on the placement call.

The idea

An academy inside a consulting firm, not beside one

Most finance training is built from a textbook. This one is built from working files: the feasibility studies the team prepared, the valuation reports it defended in front of clients, and the models it had to repair after somebody else wrote them.

So there is no course here on the secrets of money and no promise of a result. There are eighteen modules, each with an hour count and a list of what you will be able to do at the end of it, and exercises that come back marked by hand rather than scored.

Scope declaration

What the academy provides, and what it does not

Seven clauses written to be read literally. They are drafted so that a learner, a regulator and an advertising reviewer come away with the same understanding rather than three different impressions.

1

Qimah-academy Academy provides training. It delivers courses, sets exercises, marks them and issues a certificate recording the hours a learner attended and the assessment they passed. That is the entire service offered on this site.

2

The academy does not provide investment advice. Nothing taught, written or said by an instructor is a recommendation or an opinion on the merits of buying, selling or holding anything. Instructors decline personal financial questions and refer them to a licensed adviser.

3

The academy does not receive or manage money other than course fees. It holds no client funds, operates no accounts on anyone's behalf and takes no commission from any provider of any financial product.

4

The academy does not present investment opportunities and does not introduce learners to anyone. Where a course covers how to prepare a plan or a report for a financial reader, it teaches the preparation and stops there.

5

No course, page, instructor or member of staff states or implies a future financial outcome for any learner. Figures used in class are worked examples chosen to demonstrate a method.

6

A certificate from this academy records training. It is not a professional licence, not a university qualification and not a permit to carry out any regulated activity. Courses covering valuation prepare a learner to understand and check a valuation; they do not make anyone an accredited valuer, which is a separate matter for the competent authority.

7

This website takes no payments. It has no checkout, no card field and no payment provider on any page. Course fees are settled with the academy directly after a written quotation.

Method

Four steps that repeat in every session

The order is deliberate, and the fourth step is the one that usually goes missing from finance training.

01

One worked example

The instructor works a full example at the pace of the arithmetic, not the pace of a slide deck.

02

Then you, by hand

The group works the next one without the shortcut. Most of the session goes here, which is why places are capped.

03

Then the shortcut

The function, the template or the standard approach comes only after the long way is understood.

04

Then the limits

An equal share of the session on what the method cannot tell you. This part is not optional and it is the part usually missing.

Formats

Four ways to study the same syllabus

The syllabus, the attendance rules and the assessment are identical in every format. What changes is where you sit.

01

On campus in Riyadh

Classroom delivery in Al Qairawan. Small groups, printed workbooks, and an instructor in the room for the whole session.

02

Live online

The same syllabus delivered live, with exercises worked inside the session rather than left as homework and forgotten.

03

Blended

Theory online, applied days on campus. Built for people in full time work who can reach Riyadh some of the time.

04

In house

A closed group from one organisation with the material rewritten around their sector, and attendance records for the training file.

Workshops

Short standalone sessions

For people who do not need a whole track, only one day on one subject.

Spreadsheet modelling clinic

A working day spent auditing models nobody in the room wrote. Lookup and date functions, amortisation tables, and the auditing tools that find the formula that has been wrong for two years.

7 training hours

Standards update briefing

What changed in the reporting standards this period, which entries it affects, and what has to be restated. For people who already prepare accounts.

4 training hours

Reviewing somebody else's model

A structured method for taking apart a model you did not build: tracing precedents, testing the balance, stressing the assumptions and writing the review note.

6 training hours

Writing for a board

Turning a month of ledger movement into two pages somebody will read on a Sunday morning. Structure, chart choice, and the commentary that explains a variance.

How to start

Four steps, no payment on this site

01

Send the form

Your name, how to reach you, and the track you are looking at. Nothing is charged at this stage and no payment detail is asked for anywhere on this site.

02

A placement call

We ask what you already do at work, not what you have read. Most of the value of this call is in ruling out the track that would have wasted your fee.

03

The fee and the dates, in writing

The fee for the track and format you chose, the module schedule and the start date, sent in writing before you commit to anything.

04

Register and begin

Registration is completed with the academy directly. Attendance is recorded against the published hours from the first session.

This site takes no payments and has no checkout. Enrolment is for adults aged 18 and over.

Learners

What learners write here

These are the reviews written on this site. No rating is carried over from any other listing or any other brand.

Write a review

If you finished a track or a workshop with us, write what was useful and what was missing. A note about the teaching is worth more than a score.

Questions

Asked before enrolling

No. The academy teaches courses and nothing else. Instructors will not answer questions about a learner's own money or holdings, however the question is phrased, and will redirect it to the general principle being taught. The full scope declaration is on the about page and repeated as clause 2 of the terms.

We will not answer that with a number, because nobody honestly can. A course teaches a defined body of knowledge and the skills listed under each track. What a learner does with that afterwards depends on their own work and on circumstances none of us control.

Practising consultants from qimah-academy Financial Consultancy, teaching the work they do rather than a syllabus they read. The instructor leading your group, and what they work on outside the classroom, is named in the joining details you receive in writing before the first session.

Not for the accounting and reporting track, which starts from double entry and assumes nothing. The other tracks state what they assume, and the placement call exists to check that fit before you pay rather than after.

It records the track, the hours you attended and the assessment you passed, and it is verifiable with the academy. It belongs in a professional file. It is not a professional licence, not a university qualification and not a permit to practise a regulated activity. Clause 6 of the scope declaration says this in full.

Both. Each scheduled group is announced with its language of instruction and the workbook is supplied in that language. Technical terms are given in both throughout, because the documentation you meet at work is rarely in one language only.

The fee depends on the track, the delivery format and the group size, and it is quoted to you in writing before you commit to anything. This site takes no payments and has no checkout, so nothing can be charged from here.

Yes. Any track or workshop can run for one organisation, at our campus or theirs, with the case material rewritten around their sector. Attendance and completion records are supplied for the training file.

Start with a placement call

Send your details and we will call to find out what you actually do at work, settle which track fits, and send the fee and the dates in writing. No charge for the call and no obligation after it.

Training only Educational training only. No investment advice. No investment services and no funds managed. No guaranteed financial outcomes.
